Complaints and Appeals
Qubahan Techno Journal (QTJ) welcomes legitimate concerns regarding editorial procedures, peer review, publication ethics, journal policies, or published content.
Editorial Appeals
Authors may appeal an editorial decision where they believe a significant factual misunderstanding, procedural error, or demonstrable error in evaluation materially affected the decision.
An appeal should:
• identify the manuscript;
• identify the decision being appealed;
• explain the specific factual or procedural grounds; and
• provide relevant supporting evidence.
An appeal is not simply an additional round of peer review.
Where reasonably possible, an appeal will be evaluated by an editor who was not responsible for the original decision.
Complaints
Complaints concerning editors, reviewers, journal procedures, publication ethics, or published content should provide sufficient information to permit meaningful investigation.
Complaints Involving the Editor-in-Chief
Complaints concerning the Editor-in-Chief should be handled by an appropriate independent senior editor or publisher representative who was not involved in the disputed matter.
Confidentiality and Fairness
Complaints and appeals will be handled fairly, respectfully, and as confidentially as reasonably possible.
QTJ will not retaliate against individuals who raise legitimate concerns in good faith.
