Author Guideline
1. General Requirements
Manuscripts submitted to Qubahan Techno Journal (QTJ) must be original, unpublished, and not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
Submissions must fall within the QTJ Aims and Scope and demonstrate a clear scholarly contribution.
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.
2. Types of Manuscripts
QTJ considers:
• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
• Systematic Reviews
• Methodological Articles
• Theoretical and Conceptual Articles
• Interdisciplinary Research Articles
• Short Communications or Research Letters
3. Double-Anonymous Submission
QTJ operates a double-anonymous peer-review system.
The review manuscript must not contain author names, affiliations, email addresses, ORCID identifiers, acknowledgements, or other information that directly identifies the authors.
Complete author information must be entered separately in the OJS metadata.
4. Manuscript Structure
Research manuscripts should normally include:
Title
Abstract
Keywords
Introduction
Literature Review or Related Work
Methods/Methodology
Results or Findings
Discussion
Conclusion
Limitations
Acknowledgements, where applicable
Funding Statement
Conflict of Interest Statement
Author Contributions
Data Availability Statement
Ethics Statement, where applicable
Generative AI Disclosure, where applicable
References
The structure may vary according to discipline and research design.
5. Abstract
The abstract should summarize:
• research problem or context;
• objective;
• methodology or approach;
• principal findings; and
• main conclusion or contribution.
6. Keywords
Authors should normally provide 4–7 specific keywords.
7. Tables, Figures and Multimedia
Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively, appropriately captioned, and cited in the manuscript.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted third-party material.
Images, figures, audio, video, or other research materials must not be manipulated in a manner that misrepresents the underlying work.
8. References
QTJ accepts IEEE style for appropriate computer-science, mathematical, and technical manuscripts and APA style for appropriate social-science, arts, humanities, and interdisciplinary manuscripts.
One referencing style must be used consistently throughout the manuscript.
References must be accurate, relevant, complete, and genuinely support the statements for which they are cited.
DOIs should be included where available.
Fabricated references, citation manipulation, citation cartels, coercive citation, and irrelevant citations intended primarily to influence metrics are prohibited.
9. Originality and Textual Overlap
QTJ screens manuscripts for plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate textual overlap, and improper text recycling.
A fixed similarity percentage is not used as an automatic definition of plagiarism.
Similarity reports are evaluated according to source, extent, context, attribution, quotation, legitimate reuse, and the overall nature of the overlap.
10. Research Ethics
Research involving human participants, identifiable personal information, vulnerable populations, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical requirements.
Where ethics approval is required, authors must state the approving institution or committee and provide the approval/reference number where available.
Informed consent must be obtained where required.
11. Data, Code and Research Materials
Authors should make supporting data, code, mathematical models, algorithms, research instruments, creative materials, or other supporting resources available where ethically, legally, and practically possible.
Research articles should include a Data Availability Statement.
12. Authorship
Authorship must accurately reflect genuine scholarly contribution.
All listed authors must approve the submitted manuscript and final Version of Record.
Guest, gift, honorary, purchased, and ghost authorship are prohibited.
13. Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose relevant financial and non-financial competing interests.
If none exist, authors should state:
“The authors declare no competing interests.”
14. Funding
All financial, institutional, commercial, governmental, or material support must be disclosed.
Where no external funding was received, authors should state:
“This research received no external funding.”
15. Generative Artificial Intelligence
AI systems cannot be listed as authors.
Substantive use of Generative AI or AI-assisted technologies must be transparently disclosed.
Human authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, data, references, analysis, interpretation, and conclusions of the manuscript.
16. Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the official QTJ Open Journal Systems platform.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
17. Revision
Authors invited to revise should normally provide:
• a clean revised manuscript;
• a marked version where requested; and
• a detailed point-by-point response to reviewer and editor comments.
18. Proofs
After acceptance, the corresponding author will receive publication proofs.
Proof corrections should normally be limited to production, formatting, bibliographic, and typographical errors.
