Qubahan Techno Journal (QTJ) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and other users of the journal platform.

1. Information Collected

QTJ may collect personal information necessary for journal administration and scholarly publishing, including:

  • institutional affiliations;

  • email addresses and contact information;

  • ORCID identifiers and researcher profiles;

  • manuscript submission and peer-review records;

Reviewer identities are protected in accordance with QTJ’s double-anonymous peer-review policy and are not disclosed to authors except where disclosure is required by law or formally agreed by the reviewer.

4. Publication of Author Information

Information required for scholarly attribution, such as author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, and corresponding-author contact details, may be published with accepted articles and shared with indexing, DOI-registration, archiving, and scholarly-discovery services.

5. Third-Party Services

QTJ may share necessary publication metadata with trusted scholarly infrastructure providers, including DOI-registration agencies, indexing databases, preservation services, and other services required for academic publishing.

Personal information will not be sold or used for unrelated commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

Information relating to submissions, peer review, editorial decisions, and published articles may be retained when necessary to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record, document editorial decisions, resolve disputes, and meet legal or ethical obligations.

Other personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

7. Cookies and Technical Data

The journal platform may use cookies and technical log data to support account authentication, website functionality, security, system administration, and service improvement.

8. Access, Correction, and Privacy Requests

Users may contact the QTJ editorial office to request correction of inaccurate personal information or to raise concerns regarding the use of their personal data.

Requests for deletion will be considered where applicable, subject to the journal’s responsibility to preserve essential peer-review, editorial, and publication records.
